We've packed an array of classic features into our custom-built Traditional PowerHouse® Bass Cabinets. These cabinets provide an exceptional level of musical versatility and player convenience through the following features:
4x10 Design Features
Aviation Style Bracing - A radical bracing concept borrowed from the aircraft industry. All structural reinforcement is dado-joined and sculpted to form an extremely strong skeleton that reduces weight, increases rigidity and improves structural integrity.
Tri-Port™ Design - An innovative, front-facing, multi-vent porting system that uses individually tuned triangular ports to enhance each part of the bass spectrum. Each port is part of the structure and reinforcement of the cab AND speaker baffle in addition to its porting function. This goes way beyond the old standard “shelf” designs or plastic port holes that blow all your tone out of one large port hole!
Attenuator - Our premium L-Pad high-frequency horn attenuator provides players with the ability to fully adjust the level of the tweeter, ranging from fully OFF (bypassed) fully ON, or any point in-between for personalized high-frequency versatility and performance.

ALL MESA® ENCLOSURES are built by Mesa Master Craftsmen using the finest void-free, Marine Grade Baltic Birch. Super strong rabbet and dado joinery is glued and nailed throughout the cab’s construction, including bracing and most importantly, the front speaker baffle. Grilles are wrapped around a separate grille-board, not the baffle board. Grille material is made of strong twisted jute dipped in a special coating that filters top end for a sweeter response. You simply won't find a better cabinet
