Tokai LC195S-BB, black, made in Japan in 2014. Tokai stuff is always very good, and this is right up there with the fanciest offerings they do, so... it's extra very good. It's a take on the classic 57 style LP Custom, so you get all the gold hardware, 7-ply binding etc, which looks great. The finish is topped with thin clear nitro. It looks gorgeous, and the quality of the fit and finish is extremely high. The neck is a generous C shape, not exactly slim but not a baseball bat either, and the ebony board looks and very luxurious.

It sets the Suhr Pete Thorn, "Boutique PAF" tone, designed by John Suhr and Pete Thorn, these pickups deliver classic vintage warmth with modern clarity and consistency.
Neck Position sound is Crystal clear and articulate; eliminates the "mud" often found in neck humbuckers. Great for woody cleans and creamy leads.
Bridge Position sound is the perfect vintage-output growl. Highly responsive to your pick attack with a sweet high-end that cuts through the mix without being hars.
