There have been a number of improvements made to the graphics for Rainbow Six: Siege on next-gen consoles. 

VSync
VSync now affects all modes in Rainbow Six: Siege. 

Performance Mode
This new display mode targets 120 frames per second (FPS) with 4K Dynamic Resolution Scaling on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. On Xbox Series S, Performance Mode targets 120 FPS at 1080p resolution. 

Please note, Performance Mode is only effective on a screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. You can disable VSync in order to run Performance Mode on a 60Hz screen. However, you will experience screen tearing.  

Rainbow Six: Siege has no control over the refresh rates available on console. You can check the refresh rate of your screen in the Video Output section of your PlayStation 5 or the TV & Display options of your Xbox Series X|S.

Resolution Mode
This new display mode targets 60 FPS with 4K resolution on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, or 60 FPS at 1728p on Xbox Series S. 


You can enable Performance or Resolution Mode in the Video section of the Rainbow Six: Siege settings menu.
