Aerogel 4d the new 4d braided technology complements aerogel by integrating four directional braided superlight s-glass fibres into the racket frame. One layer of 4d is able to perform the job of 4 layers of a traditional racket layup. Multi directional fibres allow racket stresses to be managed by a single layer of 4d cloth, ensuring enhanced frame stability. As a single layer of cloth is significantly softer than using multiple layers, the touch and feel engineered into a dunlop racket is not compromised. The use of 4d braiding ensures that the racket can be strengthened without affecting racket weight or playability. The 4d braided technology minimizes torsional twist of the frame caused by off-centre impacts. 4D braided technology is implemented at two key locations to improve the performance of the aerogel racket.
