Flatlands 300 is a gravel ultra that will lead you through the most remote and beautiful nature of The Netherlands. The route includes multiple national parks, endless forests and lots of fresh crunchy gravel.

Yes we like it flat, but maybe you'll be given some hills. Or not. One thing's for sure, together with our route partner komoot we serve you the outdoor's very best.

2025 Preview Route
We’re thrilled to announce the NEW start and finish regions for this year’s Flatlands 300! We’ll kick off in Asten, near the stunning Nationaal Park De Groote Peel and wrap up the adventure on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug.

Routemeister Gijs Bruinsma is crafting the most beautiful journey, taking us through the Dutch-German borderlands, past national parks, and with some delightful gravel detours to the finish line.

The terrain
Flatlands 300 is a mix of fine crunchy gravel roads and backroads through the hidden gems of the Dutch countryside. You will ride across several natural sites that show rich wildlife and impressive panoramas. The forest sections tend to be pretty adventurous with a mix of speedy gravel on hard pack surfaces and double track sectors that bring you deep into the forests. Dont forget the funky shell paths, these are too much fun to not include in our route. Last but not least, hills. Maybe we have some, maybe not. Either way we are Flatlands 300, you can be sure you won't be served mountains.

The aftermath -
Finishers Fest
Don't end a race without a good aftermath with beers, food and fancy music. Ever.

We will light the campfire after the finish. Grab yourself a beer, enjoy the food and bring the great stories on! "What?! You have been fighting a bear!"
