Functieomschrijving

We are currently seeking a QA/QC Coordinator to take ownership of quality control and assurance activities within a dynamic production environment for complex naval shipbuilding programs. In this role, you will oversee all QA/QC processes from planning to execution, ensuring continuous improvement throughout the production lifecycle. Your insights will contribute directly to process enhancement and product excellence, and you’ll play a key role in maintaining a well-trained quality team to meet operational demands.

Main Responsibilities:

 Overseeing the implementation and timely execution of QA/QC protocols in alignment with the defined Inspection and Test Plan.
 Monitoring and maintaining the availability of skilled personnel for QA and QC duties.
 Providing guidance to production teams and internal stakeholders on the correct application of inspection standards and quality procedures.
 Designing, managing, and refining QA/QC workflows to support ongoing production goals.
 Assessing risks and determining priority actions to ensure production quality.
 Supporting production operations by ensuring access to relevant quality standards and offering advice on their effective use.
 Collaborating with production, quality, and project managers to report on quality metrics, issues, and areas for Leading quality improvement initiatives that span multiple departments, driven by real-time feedback and production observations.
 Ensuring compliance with department-specific certifications such as ISO 3834-2.
 Conducting trend analyses and root cause investigations across multiple projects to identify recurring issues.
 Creating standardized documentation and templates tailored to both project-specific and cross-project QA/QC needs.

Functie-eisen

 A minimum of two years' experience in a QA/QC-related role within manufacturing, ideally within the shipbuilding sector.
 Familiarity with QA/QC auditing methodologies and knowledge of standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 5817, ISO 3834-2, and AQAP 2110.
 A bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, such as Naval Architecture or Maritime Engineering.
 Proficiency in both Dutch and English, in verbal and written communication.
 Strong professional references, as a pre-employment security screening is mandatory.
 Only candidates holding permanent EU citizenship and a single EU passport can be considered due to the classified nature of the work. Individuals with dual nationality (EU + non-EU) or EU visa holders do not meet the eligibility requirements for this role.
