Functieomschrijving

For the role of Senior Scientist Immunology we are seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior Scientist with a strong background in immunology and/or cell biology, ideally with expertise in human B cell biology and experience in the discovery and characterization of therapeutic antibodies.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Design and execute functional assays to evaluate the activity of therapeutic (multi-specific) antibodies developed using our proprietary technology platforms.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data — including your own, that of research associates, and data generated by external collaborators.
• Apply your scientific insight to drive early-stage discovery projects forward.
• Take the lead in your studies and work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and develop promising lead antibodies.
• Collaborate with leading academic and industry experts to strengthen our R&D efforts.
• Clearly report and present research findings to internal and external stakeholders.

Functie-eisen

In the role of Senior Scientist Immunology you leverage your expertise in immunology, cell biology, or biochemistry to improve the efficacy of next-generation therapeutic antibodies. With a solid foundation in pre-clinical research and hands-on experience in cell-based techniques, you bring a flexible, pragmatic mindset that fits well within our entrepreneurial environment. You are not only scientifically strong but also capable of translating complex data into meaningful conclusions.

You bring:

• A PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field. Proven experience in human B cell biologoy research is considered a very strong asset.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with a range of cell-based laboratory techniques (PBMC isolation, multi color FACS, etc.)
• The ability to independently analyze, troubleshoot, and clearly report complex data.
• A creative and solution-oriented approach to scientific challenges combined with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams.
• Adaptability, a fast-learning mindset, and a hands-on attitude.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

• Long term position, which starts with a one year contract at the hiring company
• Salary indication from €4500,- gross per month based on a full-time position
• Full-time position, where 32 hours a week is negotiable
• Dayshift
