Functieomschrijving

• Developing functional descriptions, drawings, and other engineering documents for power distribution, lighting, and other electrical systems.
• Creating and maintaining specification documents for all electrical components and installation processes.
• Drafting detailed test and validation plans to ensure compliance with Class regulations and customer requirements during virtual and real-world testing phases.
• Managing vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely project contributions.
• Reviewing vendor and subcontractor designs and integrating them into vessel designs.
• Developing and describing standards and methodologies for detailed engineering and commissioning.
• Providing support in proposal stages by developing conceptual designs of electrical power systems.
• Offering technical support or commissioning activities for projects under contract.

Functie-eisen

• 3+ years of experience designing complex electrical systems, including large power distribution systems, preferably in maritime, offshore, or industrial settings.
• Experience in designing EMC-compliant solutions; familiarity with TEMPEST regulations is advantageous.
• Professional experience in complex projects involving multidisciplinary teams and multiple suppliers/subcontractors.
• Experience working in a model-based system engineering environment (MBSE) according to the V-model.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• Strong references, as pre-employment security screening is standard.
• Permanent EU citizenship and passport are required.
