Please note:
• Grainfather Conical Fermenter is not designed to ferment beer/operate under pressure. Any pressure applied is at your own risk.
• this kit is designed to operate with minimum pressure (1-3 PSI) and under constant supervision. Same as the official GF close transfer kit.
• I do not recommend buying this kit if you do not have very good experience with the GF conical fermenter or operating with fermenters/kegs/gas cylinders under pressure.
• all components of this kit are high-quality built (SS304, John Guest quick-disconnect fittings, and industry-standard Valpar 3/8 line with reduced bacterial growth and yeast adhesion)
• the kit is composed of the lower part adapter used to transfer the beer to a keg and the top part that helps apply a slight amount of pressure to transfer the beer to your keg.
• all components are brand new and the price is not negotiable

Overall remarks:
• you can use this kit to transfer beer from your fermenter to keg by applying minimum pressure (1-3 PSI).
• the advantage of the butterfly valve is that you can block the air going into the fermenter while cold-crushing. (at this stage you should apply minimum pressure (1- 3 PSI) to overcome the air suction taking place while liquid inside the fermenter is chilling down to cold crush temperature. check from time to time and supplement the pressure if needed. you will know when it's too much when CO2 escapes through the gasket).
• while dry-hopping, you can just open the valve and pour hops in, or with minimal additions transform the setup into a low-oxygen hop bong.
• to release unnecessary pressure, connect a dummy gas/liquid disconnect to the available post
