Nicely polished to get a great patina.
It holds air! The inside rubber ball has been replaced. as the old rubber ball has completely deteriorated.

Please check the photo's carefully, it is a vintage style ball, I do not believe it is an antique ball 100 years old, however it has the best look a ball can have, it is excellent for decoration.
The ball has a musty smell perhaps a bit more polish takes the smell away. It has been stored for quite some time as the leather is a bit hard and not perfectly round.
