Sapper fluitketel van Alessi

1983 design tea kettle produced by Alessi in Italy. It is Model 9091 and was Alessi's first kettle. It has an 18/10 mirror-polished stainless steel body with brass 2-pipe whistle and PA handle. It is meant to whistle a perfect fourth (B and E) when boiling, though this example has issues (see Condition below). Dimensions: 19 cm. high by 16.5 cm diameter (width), with a capacity of 2 liters. Condition:. Complete and original.. Excellent presentable vintage condition with some microscratches in the mirror finish.. Dingless and dentless but shows some browning near bottom edge, which can be removed.  When boiling, short pipe whistles but nothing passes through long pipe as steam escapes below the brass whistle instead.
