If you love McIntosh you will love this preamp.
I am using it with Gryphon amp and it offers the audio experience that is as close to realistic as it cab be. Previously I used it with mc611 and it was far better than c53 and c2700 - withiut doubt.
I compared to c12000 and it is not worth the additional money.
