This 1988 BMW 325ix Touring is a all-wheel-drive wagon finished in Salmon Silver Metallic (Lachssilber) over gray cloth sport seats. Power comes from a 2.5-liter M20 inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a full-time all-wheel-drive system.

I have owned the car for eight years as a daily driver. There is no service history beyond the 8 years. Car was imported from Switzerland.

Recent work includes a new clutch, new tires, refreshed front suspension, CV joint rebuilds, and fresh fluids throughout the powertrain. Equipment includes a Supersprint cat-back exhaust, OEM map-light rearview mirror from an M3, and 15-inch Euro basketweave wheels that have been recently sandblasted and repainted. The car was used regularly as a daily driver and it does show.

Rust in multiple areas, a few dents, interior wear, and minor fluid leaks, but the engine is mechanically strong and reliable. Battery is probably dead will need to be jumped for a test drive.

• Slight leaks from transfer case and rear differential. Rear differential and transfercase is in need of a refurbish. Viscous clutches are sticking or hopping at low rpm’s. Resulting is drivetrain lash.
