Natalie Cole, the daughter of Nat King Cole, who died in 1965, broke through as a jazz singer in 1991 with the CD Unforgettable - With Love on which she, in addition to jazz songs from the old days, sang duets with her father, thanks to the latest developments on the field of modern studio techniques. Also on Still Unforgettable father Cole is taken out of his grave in a virtual way to perform Walkin 'My Baby Back Home with his daughter. For the rest, Still Unforgettable is filled with songs from the American Songbook, which have previously been made big by stars like Tony Bennett, Bing Crosby, Billie Holiday, Nancy Wilson, Fred Astaire, Frank Sinatra and Carmen McRae. Natalie Cole once again shows that she feels most at ease with these unforgettable melodies - she made her pop records from the eighties with great reluctance - and that she can perform them in a very adequate way.
