Rockabilly is een vroege, energieke stijl van rock-'n-roll uit de jaren '50, ontstaan uit een mix van hillbilly en rhythm & blues (R&B), gekenmerkt door sterke ritmes, twangy zang en het gebruik van de contrabas, en een blijvende subcultuur met eigen mode (swingjurken, pompadours, etc) en dans.
