H* Wears Hermes II is truly a massive improvement over the original and is the first album to truly have that Griselda sound we know today. The album features label mates Conway, Daringer and Keisha Plum with guest appearances from Camouflage Monk, J57, High Fashion P and Tiona Deniece.

The album opens up with "Big L and Half A Mil," (a tribute to Big L and Half-A-Mil) which had a cool guitar sample looped by J57 and Gunn had some solid bars. The next track "Hall And Nash," is a really important point in the Griselda catalogue as it's the first time Conway and Gunn had a song together (ignoring the 05 tape.) Westside and Conway alternate after every bar or 2 which is really interesting to hear. The next track "Eggz," features a more low key and subdued, which gives Gunn a great opportunity to spit some of his best bars on the tape. Gunn raps smoothly over the soulful beat on "City, Sos, & Me." The next song,"Vera Boys," feats Keisha Plum I'm not a fan of throughout Gunn's discography.

On "Medusa Plate," Gunn lowers the pitch of his voice, which I'm not a fan of, but the beat is good. "Eric B," is the first time we get to hear Gunn over the cold sharp piano keys which is now a Griselda staple. High Fashion P opens the next song, "Never Coming Homme" with a freestyle before the guitar sample creeps in and the boom bap style drums come through. Gunn then spits two strong verses and Tiona D does a brilliant job on the chorus. The closing track "Salute," sees the only Camouflage Monk production and Gunn pays his respects to his dead and locked friends. This album just like the last ends with a speech from H*.
