"Animals"
-is Pink Floyd's tenth studio album and was released in 1977. It is a socio-critical concept album that draws parallels between human behavior and the characteristics of various animals.
The album is divided into three main tracks, each representing a different animal species: "Dogs", "Pigs (Three Different Ones)" and "Sheep".

"Dogs" explores the traits of ruthlessness and ambition, "Pigs (Three Different Ones)" targets the hypocrisy and greed of politicians and the elite, while "Sheep" depicts the passive and conformist nature of the general population.

Musically, "Animals" is characterized by a mixture of progressive rock, hard rock and blues influences.
The album is characterized by extended instrumental passages, complex arrangements and atmospheric soundscapes. The guitar work of David Gilmour and the lyrical themes of Roger Waters are particularly noteworthy on the album.

Despite initially receiving mixed reviews, "Animals" is now considered one of Pink Floyd's most underrated and conceptually ambitious albums.
It didn't have the same commercial success as some of their other albums like "The Dark Side of the Moon" or "Wish You Were Here", but it has gained a loyal fan base over time and has been critically acclaimed for its depth and artistic vision.
