“NR. 1” CHAIR BY COPRAY & SCHOLTEN FROM THE NETHERLANDS, 1990
A rare “Nr. 1” chair, designed and manufactured by Copray & Scholten in the Netherlands around 1990.
Made of high quality grey metal with a off-white leather upholstery to the seat and back. This beautiful and very comfortable piece is a unique find of Dutch Design. Designer duo Copray & Scholten excisted out of Stefan Scholten and Bob Copray, as a duo their work has been presented all over the world and this piece is included in the collection of the Utrecht Central museum. It combines style with comfort, a clean yet elegant design that will be a fantastic eye-catcher in any decor!

It remains in vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. No defects but shows traces of use.

Deze stoel is een iconisch stukje Dutch Design ontworpen door Bob Copray en Stefan Scholten. 
Het maakt deel uit van de Droog & Dutch Design beweging en werd destijds verkocht bij gerenommeerde designwinkels zoals The Frozen Fountain in Amsterdam. Het ontwerp kenmerkt zich door een minimalistisch metalen onderstel en een gestoffeerde zitting, wat een strakke maar toch comfortabele uitstraling geeft.
