In the early 1950s, Wim Rietveld designed a number of products for the Gispen company: the 1401 armchair and the 116 chair. A few years later, during his time at Gispen, André Cordemeyer designed several variations on these. Now, Richard Hutten, Dutch Originals' current art director, is continuing this work.
