Looking for a new place to live in Amsterdam Zuid (Buitenveldert/Rivierenbuurt)

I live in Buitenveldert since 2015 and after three years of harassment at home by the (previous and current) owner, and negligence of the neighbours and the police and Woon and Veilig Thuis and the court, I am leaving my home at the end of September.

I am looking for a place to stay for the night with the legal terms of minimum 6 months time and with a normal budget for a room, which is not more than 300 euro monthly.

What I need is a bed to spend the night, a shared fridge and washing machine. During the day I will be in the library applying for jobs. This is what I do since 2018, and with no success. I have a masters degree in economics and business administration and a steady work experience in my home country, and a standard experience of a 35+ woman in The Netherlands - jobs with exploitation in exchange with wegwerpuitkering (WW).

I have an extended list of experiences at not-for-profit organisations, including children, the elderly, the cultural sector. I used to be a registered and well-rated petsitter at Pawshake, when I was in-between jobs.


My first Dutch lesson was in 2012, I am fluent in the language and I follow the news since 2018. I vote central-left.

Please contact me if you have a green heart and a free room in Buitenveldert or the area, and if it would be sufficient for you to receive 300 euro monthly as compensation for a short term stay of six months, for using a room with a bed and utility costs.

I can contribute with keeping the place neat and tidy, but don't expect me to do garden jobs because being a 40+ I already have back pain issues. Small gardens are fine.
