Ⰶ WHEAT PENNY (1909-1958): USA ★ 1 CENT 1928! LINCOLN (1809-1865) ERROR!
Interesting coin of wheat type (1909-1958) which commemorated 100 years of Lincoln (1809-1865). Beautiful looking portrait is not just luck, but the result of getting new equipment by mints, which made the dies server longer. Type with signature of engraver on the Obv. in nice condition. The uncommon planchet error is represented by metal lamination on the Obv. (see enlargement), which passes from bottom through shoulder, over LIBERTY behind the portrait.
