FAQs
Is this machine suitable for me?
The Circulation Maxx Revitaliser should not be used if you have been fitted with a pacemaker, during pregnancy, if you have existing DVT, cardiovascular problems or are epileptic. The Revitaliser can be used with Titanium hip or knee replacements. You must consult with your GP before using the Revitaliser if you have any other health conditions.The Revitaliser will not work with prosthetic limbs and is not suitable for lower limb amputees. This is due to the device needing to circulate the electrical pulses from one-foot plate to the other via each leg.
I cannot feel the pulses what should I do?
your circulation is very poor, you may not be able to feel the pulses on the lower intensities. Ask a friend, partner or relative to see if they can try the machine. If they can feel the pulses it may suggest that your circulation is poor. We’d recommend using the machine at a higher frequency and gradually decreasing the intensity once the sensation returns after consistent use. Alternatively, try some of the suggestions below.
How to get the best results?
To get the best results we recommend using our water-based conductive gel or dampening your feet before use. This helps to intensify pulses. If you have hard skin on your feet it will be more difficult for your nerve endings to feel the sensation. Either remove the hard skin before use or moisturise and soften the skin before use of the machine.
My feet are too big for the footplates, what do I do?
This doesn't matter, the footplates are guides for where to put your feet and where the pulses radiate from. As long as there is a point of contact on each footplate you will feel the pulses. There is no maximum or minimum shoe size to use this machine.
