If you wish to lock your hook in position simply pull the crimp into the head so that it sits on the deadlock shoulder.
Ring the hook with the point up in the dark side of the skirt.
The lure will slide up the leader when a fish is hooked so that it cant be used to help the fish shake the hook free.
