Uniek Nissan Silvia S14 200SX NL Auto NAP

Here by I’m offering for sale my S14 project due to changes in plans. Unfortunately, It was a long term project for me however it’s time for a change now. I bought the car from third owner which had it for 13 years. S14 is original Dutch delivered and has all reports as KM and NAP. Current mileage is 224.000 and slightly can increase as it’s a weekend car for me. It’s an European version which is coming with heated leather seats.

•After buying the car I have focused on mechanical parts more, because I wanted to keep it as healthy as possible. Engine oil, gearbox oil and differential oil has been replaced with Redline. Due to age mounts were not effective as they had to be. That’s why I upgraded engine mounts and gearbox mount with a Nismo ones. Hopefully, during all of it we didn’t see anything wrong or weird. No metal pieces or any issues in the previous oils anywhere.

•I have renewed door locks, floor mats, have done deep cleaning to the car to protect the condition of interior. Shifter boot was renewed and shifter itself changed with a short shifter and fresh gaskets.

•The car got a complete speaker set from Audison with a new Kenwood receiver to improve the sound quality to enjoy the car. All parts are choosed according to original dimensions, so there is everything in fabric look.

•We have also renewed the exhaust system. S14 has turboback 3inch exhaust with the valve control at the moment. Cat is deleted however I still have it. It shoots flames sometimes however there is no any tune.

•I have installed new steering wheel set from NRG with a complete set. Hub, quick release and alcantara deep dish wheel. Original one is still present of course.

•S14 has also few modifications which were done by previous owners and still working as they should do;

2 years ago it was coated underneath by previous owner to avoid any rust.

•But of course project is not finished yet completely, that’s why car has also some few minus points which is not making it “perfect”. After showing some love and spending some time the condition will be incredible;

1. S14 needs paint in few spots as: front bumber, rear right fender and trunk. Bumper had a small damage already when I bought it but as I said I focused first on mechanical part that’s why I couldn’t repair these spots.
2. Very known issue, rpm gauge is dancing! We already tried soltering it however it doesn’t look long term. Sometimes it just working properly but sometimes it just dancing.
3. The car has all needed parts for air conditioning except condensor. By adding it, the setup is ready for a use.
4. When I bought the car previous owner mentioned that there is a sound coming sometimes when you start the car. If you are in hurry or just don’t prefer to warm up the car enough, when you press on the gas at the cold start there is a sound coming for a moment. It just goes away when you press second time. As I’m warming up every time my car properly, even a bit extra, sound is not there. We’ve checked everything regarding mechanical parts however we couldn’t find any relation with engine or gearbox. That’s why I just kept focusing on other stuff. 

In overall this all what I remember at the moment, any questions are of course welcome and could be asked. For a serious buyers I can arrange a meeting with my Mechanic as well, so he can explain everything what has been done and how has been done to the car; as he was the only person working on this car. Bridge could be arranged also, so you could take a look underneath of the car. But as I said, this will be only for serious buyers. If you willing to buying the car, it’s a free service. However if you are doing it for a joy, it will cost you in advance as you can expect.

I still love my car, its condition and its fun. But as I said it’s time for a change!
