In "Sebastian", the Finnish-British director Mikko Mäkelä ("The hut on the lake") tells the story of a young man who has to assert himself both in the literature scene and in the escort world - and only really finds himself in the latter. Without neglecting the complex mechanisms and dangers of sex work, "Sebastian" is a remarkably sex-positive film that finds moments of liberation in transgression and kinkyness.
