Beschrijving

Even though a passive temperature element such as a PT500 is one of the most basic building blocks that is used almost everywhere in HVAC, we find it important to be able to offer it in different versions. Including versions for air ducts, versions with flying lead and also this ROTSN. This is housed in a beautiful housing that integrates perfectly with your home. It is also equipped with a handy 3-pole terminal block on which you can easily attach wires up to 1.5 mm².

How does it work?
This temperature sensor measures the ambient temperature via a platinum element (PT500). This sensor element has an electrical resistance of 100 ohms at 0 ° C. It has a positive temperature coefficient. This means that the resistance increases as the ambient temperature increases. Any HVAC device with an input for PT500 'passive temperature sensors' can read the measured temperature.
How to connect?

The platinum temperature sensor element can be connected via a shielded 2-core cable. The cable can be connected via the terminal block with screws. This terminal block is suitable for cables with a maximum cross-section of 1.5 mm². We recommend keeping the cable length limited. The longer the cable length, the greater the influence of the cable resistance on the measurement reading. This sensor does not require a separate power supply.
Sleek, modern design

The housing offers a sleek, contemporary design. It has an IP30 protection rating against dust and moisture. It can be wall-mounted indoors. To ensure optimum performance, the sensor should be protected from direct sunlight.
