Thanks to its platinum PT500 sensor element, the TUTSN guarantees stable temperature measurement in air ducts. The sensor element is housed in a 25 cm plastic probe. These temperature probes have a positive temperature coefficient: when the temperature increases, the resistance increases. They are easy to install and are compatible with PT500 compatible controllers.

How does it work?
This temperature probe measures the ambient temperature via a PT500 platinum element. This sensor element has an electrical resistance of 500 ohms at 0 ° C. And a positive temperature coefficient. This means that the resistance increases as the ambient temperature increases. Any device with an input for 'PT500 passive temperature sensors' can read out the measured temperature. How to connect?
The sensor element is built into a plastic housing. The connection wires have a length of 1 m (2 x 0.5 mm²). If necessary, they can be extended. However, the longer the cable length, the greater the influence of the resistance of the cable on the measured value. This sensor does not require a separate power supply.
