Pitot tube connection set for measuring air volume (flow) or air velocity in combination with a differential pressure sensor. This set contains a plastic probe and a flexible, transparent PVC hose with a length of 2 m. The length of the pitot tube is 150 mm. It is suitable for air ducts with a diameter of 100 - 300 mm. The maximum working pressure is 10,000 Pa. This set is used to measure or control the air velocity. In combination with a sensor, it can also be used to measure or control the air flow based on the duct cross-section.

The pitot tube works according to Bernoulli's law. If the area of the duct cross-section is known, the air flow [m³/hour] can also be measured or controlled.And your Sentera differential pressure sensor can convert this to air volume (flow) in m 3 /h.
In the Modbus registers of your differential pressure sensor you can enter the duct cross-section (in cm 2 ). This means that not only the measured air velocity in m / s will appear in the input registers, but also the flow in m 3 /h. And in the case of a controller you can use both values to set your desired velocity or air volume.
High-quality plastic
The pitot tube is made of grey, high-quality r-ABS plastic. This material is heat-resistant and very tough. It has a length of 150 mm and a diameter of 12.5 mm. This pitot tube is suitable for air ducts with a diameter of 100 - 300 mm. The maximum working pressure is 10,000 Pa and the maximum working temperature is 60 °C.
Set consists of Pitot tube and pressure hose
The supplied hose is made of transparent PVC. It has a diameter of 7 mm and a length of 2 m. Please note that the hose must be in 2 for a Pitot tube measurement. For instructions, please refer to the installation and operating instructions of the differential pressure sensor or controller.
