Automatic fan speed controller for single-phase motors. The speed of the AC fan is controlled based on the measured temperature. When the measured temperature is lower than the set temperature, the fan runs at low speed. When the set temperature is exceeded, the fan accelerates. The higher the measured temperature, the higher the fan speed. The temperature can be set in the range of 5 - 35 °C. An optional PT500 temperature probe is required. The power supply voltage is 230 VAC. The settings can be adjusted via Modbus RTU. The maximum motor current is 6 A. The fan speed is controlled by reducing the motor voltage via phase angle control - Triac technology.

Temperature controlled fan speed control
This variable speed controller requires an optional PT500 temperature probe, e.g. FLTSN-P500-040. When the measured temperature is lower than the set temperature, the fan runs at low speed. When the set temperature is exceeded, the fan accelerates. The higher the measured temperature, the higher the fan speed. The temperature can be set within the range of 5 - 35 °C via the potentiometer on the front of the device. Modbus RTU communication

This fan speed controller uses Triac technology to control the fan speed. Fan speed controllers with Triac technology control the motor continuously. The phase angle control of the Triacs ensures that the fan speed controller works completely silently. The disadvantage is that the motor may make some noise at low speeds. This is because the alternating voltage of the motor does not have a perfect sinusoidal shape. To prevent motor noise, the minimum motor voltage can be increased.
