Rare design: set of 7 original 'Strip' chairs by Dutch design brand Castelijn, designed by Gijs Bakker in 1974. An icon of Dutch postmodernist design.

The strip chair is part of the collection of the Stedelijk museum in Amsterdam. These chairs are characterized by their clean lines, graphic forms and clever manufacturing methods. They are made of curved laminated wood with a sturdy pin construction.
