Beschrijving

A beautifully balanced set of six dining chairs designed by Henry Walter Klein for Bramin, Denmark, 1970s. Crafted in warm teak with refined joinery and newly upholstered seats in a textured green wool fabric, these chairs exemplify the harmony and craftsmanship of Danish modern design.
The sculptural, curved backrest with vertical slats gives the chairs a sense of rhythm and lightness, while the slender legs and organic transitions show the attention to detail typical of Bramin’s production during this period. The overall impression is one of quiet elegance and enduring comfort.
About the designer
H.W. Klein (1925–2019) was a Norwegian-born designer who became an important figure in Danish modern furniture. After studying under Finn Juhl at the Danish School of Design, Klein developed a style defined by soft geometry, functional precision, and timeless warmth. His collaborations with Bramin reflect the golden age of Scandinavian design where simplicity, craftsmanship, and human scale were perfectly balanced.
