Shimano Symetre 4000-FL

Shimano has now released the new feature rich and re-engineered Shimano Symetre FL series. The Shimano Symetre 4000 FL Spinning Reel is an all-time favourite among softbait and lure anglers because of its graphite construction that’s suitable for both freshwater and inshore saltwater applications. This reel now features an ultra-thin M Compact Body design for reduced weight, improved ergonomics and stylish new look. S A-RB These bearings have been through the same process as the A-RB bearings, but now added with shields on both sides of the bearings to reduce the possibility of salt or sand inhibiting the bearings’ rotation.

Shimano CF Aluminium Cold Forged Spool This spool increases the strength and durability over diecast aluminium or graphite spools.
X-Ship Technology By supporting the pinion gear on both ends with the S-ARB bearing and integrating a bigger drive gear, Shimano increased the gearing efficiency and power. This results in a fishing reel with ultra-light handle rotation.
