RHD Range Rover L322 HSE of 2004 with the trustworthy and legendary BMW M57 3.0 TD6 "6-in line" engine.

After searching for quite some time to find an original unmolested "non-pimped" example, we found this prime and well taken care of Rangie in the much desirable Zambezi Silver with light leather interior.

The L322 was developed when BMW owned the Land Rover brand in the late 90's. The L322 shares about 70% of components with the BMW X5 and is generally regarded as the best ever built Range Rover type. The model did not change for 10 years which is a record the L322 Range Rover only shares with the first generation Volvo XC90.

The Ford/PSA developed TDV8 cylinder diesel engines that were fitted from 2007 when Ford owned the Land Rover brand before Tata moved in, are smooth running but complex bi-turbo engine platforms that never matched reliability performance of the BMW M57 engine.

I wanted to keep this Rangie, take good care of it and let it become a desirable classic but plans have changed now that I am emigrating to a country where they drive on the right -but wrong side of the road. A lot was done in the two years ownership. See overview below. This Rangie had everything done to it to remain roadworthy and pass MOT's for many more years. It has the built-in fridge in the centre arm rest and retractable luggage net divider and an extensive list of options fitted as standard.

113000 purchase. Rear sills welded (common problem). Oil and filter change. Gearbox flush. New head lining (most expensive Jaguar specification ). Digital Car Play multi-media system to replace outdated audio. EGR delete. Oil sump vent filter replaced with M57 engine cyclone upgrade. Auxiliary drive belt renewed. Full rubber matting set.

119500 gearbox flush and new oil
120300 injector leakage test done
121800 new main thermostat
123000 oil change + all filters. Also diffs and transferbox oil changed
125400 aircon pipe renewed, system flushed, pressure tested and charged
125800 replaced cracked driver seat valance cover (common issue)
126300 4x Toyo Open Country tyres
126600 D/S pretensioner replaced SRS
127400 cooling water hose replaced and full system flush.
128200 rear led brake light cluster renewed
128700 parking brake renewed and adjusted, new rear brake discs and new MOT valid until 15 OCT 2026

The rear wheel arches are a weak spot with these vehicles. I installed a rubber seal-lip around the arch to avoid water/dirt accumulation. The arches are in reasonable condition but would require some work in the future. For the rest, nothing noteworthy. Everything on this car works as it should.

The car is on UK registration, import needs to be arranged by the new owner. It's also advertised elsewhere. After Oct 15 it will have a new MOT (apk) for a year.

Given the state of the vehicle and the work that was recently done to preserve it, I am asking 3.950 euro o.v.n.o.
