Performance
At rest, the Dyno’s stability is shockingly impressive, making it extremely accessible for heavier riders. This quality makes uphauling on this board an easy task, even with bigger sails. Once up and in the sailing position, the board begins to track well, accelerating smoothly with a crisp release as power is supplied. As the speed builds, the board’s direction is unwavering. Once steered to the desired destination, it locks in on its target and maintains course comfortably due to the rearward positioned fins providing heaps of grip.

The Dyno planes on a minimal wetted area, with the nose sitting well clear of any chop, which, with its long parallel rails, makes the board feel much longer than its quoted length. Charge the Dyno at any ramp and it confidently takes flight with its relatively wide nose providing useful lift to float through the air. For gybes this board is a top contender. The speed carried by the Dyno through the turn makes the rider feel like an idle co-pilot as the board maintains speed comfortably through a drawn-out arc, keeping almost all of its pace from entry to exit. This gives the rider plenty of time to think about the foot change and rig flip, a valuable asset in tricky conditions.
